Other local attractions including Askrigg, famed for its connection with the TV series “All Creatures Great and Small”, the Bowes museum in Barnard Castle, Aysgarth Falls and Hardraw Force, England’s highest single drop waterfall at 99ft. Venture a little further afield and visit Durham, Harrogate, York, the Yorkshire Moors, Hadrian’s Wall or the Lake District, all accessible from this lovely spot.

Curlew holiday Cottage is a Grade II listed 18th century former lead miner’s cottage in the heart of Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Situated in an elevated position

above a small hamlet of traditional farms and cottages approximately 4 miles west of the village of Reeth, the cottage commands spectacular views over Swaledale, one of the least spoilt dales, known for its flower meadows and stone barns.
